Welcome

We are a voluntary group formed by members of local Christian churches.  Our aim is to provide food parcels to people within the Kidlington, Woodstock, Chipping Norton and Charlbury area. The parcels contain essential food for individuals and families in case of emergency, covering the time it takes for other social care infrastructure to come into play.

If you are in need of help, vouchers for food parcels can be obtained from: Social Services, CAB, Probation Service, Children’s Agencies, Church Ministers

or contact us for more information:

UPDATE

Foodbank continued operating from its centres in Kidlington, Chipping Norton and Woodstock throughout the pandemic and is obviously still very busy, given the current economic situation. So donations remain very welcome and much needed. Thank you to everyone who has been donating food and money and to all the volunteers enabling this to happen.

CHRISTMAS 2024

Our distribution centres will be open as follows over the Christmas/New Year:

  • Woodstock – as normal, open 23rd and 30th December
  • Kidlington – open 20th December, closed 27th December
  • Chipping Norton – open 23rd December, closed 30th December.

We are always very grateful for the Christmas “extras” which people donate at this time of year as it enables us to add some specials to the parcels we provide. But please make sure they get to a donation point by Thursday 12th December so they can be processed in time. Or see our “Reverse Advent Calendar” below for ideas of more regular items you might choose to give.

You can also download the calendar if you want to display it somewhere – just click here.
